What They Have to Say
Formerly Deep Hydrating Serum, our Active Infusion Serum demonstrates the evolution of our collection. The original aroma, texture, and consistency remain, while the formulation has been adjusted to increase performance. Marula and Avocado oil have replaced Coconut as our primary carrier oil, and we’ve also added a few new, potent, skin-regenerating herbs.
This active, herb-infused serum penetrates quickly and moisturizes fully to assist and support real skin transformation. Rich fatty acids and vital phytonutrients help calm, nourish, moisturize and repair skin cells through our unique, concentrated plant and herb synergies.
Active Infusion Serum Review
Josh Rosebrook’s Active Infusion Serum… where to begin?
It’s a beautiful serum. It is light but nourishing and the smell is amazing. Very herbal. So if that isn’t your thing, you might not be so enthusiastic about it. It also absorbs relatively quickly, doesn’t leave a greasy sheen, and one to two pumps is plenty for face, neck, and décolleté. I really appreciate that there is a pump rather than a dropper and that the pump consistently dispenses enough product.
This will make a great year-round serum for normal and dry skins and a great moisturizer for oilier skin types. In the summer, this would probably make a great night serum for oily skin types to flood the skin with moisture and use your normal moisturizer during the day. Just make sure that your skin isn’t reactive to Avocado oil, which can be comedogenic for combo to oily skin.
I can definitely say that this never broke me out. Mostly because the serum focuses on using powerful herbal extracts and not just oils to nourish and brighten your skin. And brighten it did.
I guess the only left to talk about is the price. You have three sizing options; 1 oz at $75.00, 2 oz at (couldn’t find a price because it was sold out), and 4 oz at $195.00. The price does seem a bit steep and normally I wouldn’t say that a serum is worth $75, but the quality of the ingredients is phenomenal. I would almost say this serum is a bargain. If you have an opportunity to try this serum, definitely do!
